Accountant
We are seeking a full-time accountant to help provide our very loyal clients with complete financial planning, SMSF, accounting and taxation solutions.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys working autonomously in a unique and flexible environment to join our team. The right candidate will be a good fit into our light hearted team culture and would possess a superior work ethic and an eye for detail.
This will be a fulfilling and challenging role offering client contact and the ability to develop and maintain meaningful client relationships. Working within our Accounting team, the tasks you may be required to undertake include:
- Preparation of SMSF financial statements and tax returns
- Income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts using HandiTax
- Bookkeeping services using MYOB and Xero
- Activity statement preparation and lodgement
- Liaise with the ATO on clients behalf
- Liaise with the financial planning team
An understanding of SMSF rules and regulations and experience with BGL will be highly regarded. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
